Hi— I’m Jessica.
PERSONAL:
I grew up in northern California (a suburb between Sacramento and San Francisco) and moved across the country to Washington, DC in 2006.
I used to teach high school in DC, where one of my favorite creative pursuits was my time as yearbook adviser.
I am committed to the never-ending pursuit of healthy growth (mental, emotional, spiritual and physical) and being a good steward of what I’ve been given.

PROFESSIONAL:
For the last 20 years, I've ministered professionally and as a lay volunteer in churches in California and the DC area. I received my Masters in Pastoral Studies (liturgical studies focus) in 2012.
I stepped down from full-time ministry in 2013 to stay at home after my oldest daughter was born. My time at home helped me re-engage with my love of writing and graphic design, and provide the space for me to develop and refine my skills.
In 2016, I started AlayKo (formerly Jessica Dennis Creative), and work with various clients on the west and east coasts. My area of specialty is residential real estate marketing and operations.
